Valley Youth House is a special organization that provides guidance and assistance to the young adults of the Philadelphia Area transitioning out of the foster care and homelessness systems. With their programs for life coaching, employment skills and education, they help Philadelphia’s young adults overcome their present barriers, and set goals for the future. This year they are holding their 4th Annual “Always Bet on Youth” Casino Night and Gala, and would love for you to attend! Gearing their riding lessons toward individual ability, Thorncroft has been encouraging the well being of all people, but especially those with special needs. Thorncroft will be celebrating its 29th Annual Victory Gala that will benefit riders with special needs, and help keep the tradition alive. With keynote speaker Temple Grandin, and musical guest 'Big Ric Rising', the night is sure to be a huge success. Big Ric Rising will keep the audience dancing all night long with their upbeat song choices and vivacious personality.

Their Let Them Eat Cake: Fantasy Weddings Gala celebrates its 10th year in Philadelphia on April 7, 2014 beginning at 6pm. Guests will get to sample delicious creations from 40 professional pastry chefs and student bakers from the tri-state region, and will get the opportunity to meet celebrity chefs Marc and Benny from City Cakes NY, and John Moeller, the former White House chef. Dynamic Ground will be the entertainment for the evening, ensuring that guests will be enjoying sweet creations with incredible music.
