The Little Smiles organization is a volunteer driven, non-profit children’s charity whose mission is to help youth in local hospitals, hospices, shelters and other like facilities. With the guidance of local professionals such as doctors, nurses, child life specialists and social workers, Little Smiles strives to help kids escape their unfortunate circumstances, even if only for a short period of time. The organization and its Board of Directors are pleased to be hosting the Ninth Annual Stars Ball, "A Night at The Oscars." Modeled after the Oscar Awards, the STARS are children who have chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Watch as they are honored, arriving in style via limo, walking the red carpet, signing autographs for their adoring fans (that's you!) and receiving an Oscar-style trophy. It is truly a magical evening designed to allow the kids to remember what it feels like to be a kid again. The evening includes dinner, an open bar, dancing to live music, both a live and silent auction, and raffles. It's a night not to be missed! Click here for more information.
