Lisa's Army

In 2008, Lisa Loonstyn was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 20. Lisa immediately became involved with the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation in an effort to help save other women. Her mission was to make young people aware and to get them to do something to make a difference. Lisa recurred in 2010 and valiantly fought this disease with an extraordinary amount of bravery, a smile ...on her face and humor in her heart. "Lisa's Army" is made up of family, friends and even strangers- we all came together to fight right along side Lisa in the trenches. Lisa passed away from ovarian cancer on May 6, 2012. Lisa's Army continues the legacy she created in an effort to help save and support other young women.
